Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Health Safety Environment Officer located in Dammam. The Health Safety Environment Officer will be responsible for overseeing health & safety, environment health and safety (EHS), occupational health, workplace safety, and IMS compliance in the workplace.

Qualifications

  • Experience in environment health and safety (EHS) and occupational health
  • Relevant certification or degree in Health and Safety or related field
  • HSE Mgmt System, ISO 18001, 45001 and 14001 knowledge
  • 5 years experience in HSE related position
  • Recognized Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety
  • Process Development, Root Cause Analysis, Non-conformance identification and control, Auditor, experience of identifying and implementation of Improvements.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently

Responsibilities

  • Establish and monitor the effectiveness of the company HSE Management System.
  • Provides advice, guidance and support on company policies and their implementation
  • Investigate accidents and near misses to identify root causes and make recommendations.
  • Review current HSE Management system – providing a gap analysis to the standard of ISO 45001 and 14001.
  • Function as primary liaison between company and regulatory agencies, clients, auditors, and contractors for HSE matters.
  • Provide HSE coaching, training and support as required across various areas.
