Job Title: Pediatric Neurosurgery Consultant

JOB SUMMARY

As a pediatric neurosurgery consultant at a top-tier hospital in Saudi Arabia, your role involves providing specialized neurosurgical care to pediatric patients with a wide range of neurological conditions. You will evaluate and diagnose patients, develop tailored treatment plans, and perform complex surgical procedures with the support of a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. Your expertise will contribute to the hospital's commitment to delivering high-quality, cutting-edge care.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide high-quality neurosurgical care to pediatric patients.
  • Offer consultative services as requested.
  • Supervise fellows, staff/assistant physicians, and residents.
  • Participate in training and teaching of residents and fellows in your area of expertise, and engage in research activities.
  • Participate in committees and other administrative functions as needed.
  • Perform special procedures as privileged.
  • Follow all hospital-related policies and procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Graduate from a reputable medical school.
  • Completion of required training in Neurosurgery and/or subspecialty.
  • Saudi Arab or American/European Board Certification or equivalent.
  • Membership and/or Fellowship status in the USA and/or Europe or their equivalents, fulfilling the criteria for a consultant.
  • A certificate recognized by the Saudi Commission is mandatory.
  • Dataflow verification is required.

Professional Experience

  • Minimum 3-4 years post-Board/Fellowship experience in Neurosurgery.
  • Registered member of the Saudi Board Council.

Language

  • Proficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.
