An established industry player is searching for a dedicated Automotive Factory Utility Manager to oversee critical utility systems in their manufacturing facility. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented automotive factory Utility Manager to oversee the maintenance and operation of utility systems within our automotive manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of electrical and mechanical equipment such as electrical substations, HVAC systems, boilers, compressors, chillers, plumbing, firefighting systems, BMS, and other essential utility systems to support production operations. Duties also include managing utility budgets, scheduling maintenance and repairs, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and supervising a team of utility technicians. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in utility systems and a proven track record of effective leadership in a manufacturing environment.
As the Automotive Factory Utility Manager, your primary responsibility is to ensure the continuous operation and maintenance of all utility systems within the automotive factory to support production operations while adhering to safety standards and regulations. You will lead a team of utility engineers and technicians and effectively allocate resources to maintain efficient and cost-effective utility operations. Additionally, you will play a critical role in optimizing budgets, implementing safety protocols, and driving process improvements to enhance utility system reliability and efficiency.
The requirements of this role are very diverse and will require extended working hours, holiday period working, and short notice response in emergency situations. The ideal candidate will have a 24/7 service mindset.

Education: A master’s degree in Mechatronics/Mechanical/Electrical engineering; MBA is a plus. Arabic and English language proficiency are mandatory.
Experience: A minimum of 12-15 years of experience in utility engineering management within a utilities and manufacturing environment, including at least 3 years in the automotive industry. Greenfield experience is a must.
