The Purpose of the Role

This position involves performing and providing counsel on expert emergency, maintenance, testing, engineering, programming, designing, and start-up technical support for electrical or mechanical equipment, systems, and subsystems such as BMS, FAS, Access Control, and CCTV (including software where applicable). The role includes diagnosing and repairing hardware and software systems beyond the capability of other service technicians.

  • Service and maintain Honeywell and third-party equipment for BMS, fire alarm systems, CCTV, and Access Control systems (as per trade expertise).
  • Determine equipment and accessory needs for implementation and inform FSS in a timely manner.
  • Perform design work, programming of HVAC controllers, BMS, fire panels, and access control panels.
  • Install EBI, prepare graphics, and perform necessary programming as per specifications.
  • Report potential future failures, disturbances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Estimate material costs and quantities, providing information to FSS, FSL, and Service Sales.
  • Develop and maintain site-specific documentation and quality assurance information as instructed by the team leader.
  • Follow Honeywell SOPs, HSE, and quality systems while delivering maintenance services, spot services, and SLJs.
  • Measure and report on performance indicators and site service objectives.

Qualifications :

  • A four-year degree in engineering or programming.
  • More than 4 years of experience servicing BMS, fire, security, or access entry and alarm systems.
  • Advanced programming skills in Honeywell and industry-standard platforms.

  • Ability to interact effectively with customers.
  • Ability to acquire and demonstrate trade skills and product knowledge to meet role requirements.

  • Ability to work independently and supervise contractors or other technicians.
