The position is primarily responsible for supporting Beckman Coulter's customers by educating end-users on BCI test menu and instruments, providing technical support, training, and troubleshooting within the specified territory of the assigned country. Expected travel and time management involve 80% of time spent in the field visiting customers.
Product Line: Diagnostics
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Drive sales growth in the assigned territory or market segment by identifying new business opportunities and developing strategic customer accounts.
- Deliver product presentations, demos, and technical support to clients.
- Assist in developing sales strategies, pricing models, and promotional campaigns.
- Conduct market research to understand the competitive landscape and customer needs.
- Support customers post-sale through onboarding, training, and application optimization.
- Attend industry trade shows, seminars, and conferences as a company representative.
Application Support:
- Determine technical solutions according to product and customer specifications.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to parameters, calibration, and quality control.
- Develop and deliver product training to end-users and support field associates (sales and service).
- Attend internal or external meetings related to Beckman Coulter's product portfolio.
- Support channel partners' field associates and customers with clinical expertise.
- Develop and support customers regarding External Quality Control (RIQAS).
- Ensure the installed base receives adequate clinical support and support channel partners when needed.
- Build long-term relationships with end-users in the assigned territory by meeting their needs.
- Expand the test menu and product portfolio of Beckman Coulter International.
- Conduct onsite training for new installations and ensure the installed base receives adequate clinical support.
- Support the implementation of projects on the clinical side.
- Occasionally support customers over the phone.
- Work closely with both the service and sales teams.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- 5+ years of experience with a B.Sc. degree in Life Sciences; medical lab diagnostics or laboratory experience is a MUST.
- Clinical and commercial driven individual.
- Fluent in English and Arabic.
- Ability to build excellent relationships with stakeholders, including end-users, purchasing agents, and distributors.
- Highly agile and flexible, as extensive travel is required.
- Knowledge of the Saudi Arabia market.
