Job description

Qiddiya Investment Company is in search of a proactive and results-driven Associate Director - Strategy & Planning to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the strategic landscape of our groundbreaking projects and initiatives, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure alignment with our corporate vision and mission.

Your expertise in strategic planning will be instrumental in conducting market analysis, identifying growth opportunities, and formulating strategies that will help position Qiddiya as a leader in the entertainment industry.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop relevant strategies for Qiddiya's Destination Marketing & Management Organization (DMMO) focusing on the tourism industry
2. Design and detail operating models, develop governance and organizational structures, as well as policies, procedures and processes
3. Research, benchmark, analyze frameworks and methodologies needed to address specific project needs with clear strategic recommendations and solutions
4. Conduct research and analyses about entertainment, sports and culture sectors and develop relevant strategic, business, and financial plans
5. Research and expand on knowledge of KSA's travel trade environment and others as needed
6. Develop DMMO's budget
7. Develop and maintain DMMO's business and marketing plan
8. Develop DMMO's performance framework (objectives, KPIs, initiatives, etc.) and track/report corporate performance
9. Develop relevant project plans (MS Project) across DMMO's units and track/report progress
10. Prepare content for periodic board/executive meetings and participate in specific committees as required
11. Execute projects with multiple stakeholders and coordinate discussions with internal and external stakeholders
12. Coordinate and manage relationships with relevant tourism government entities
13. Provide regular executive updates and ongoing support to DMMO's management team and manage ad hoc requests
14. Develop content for presentations and synthesis reports (expert in PowerPoint presentations, Excel, Word, etc.)
15. Mentor and coach junior resources

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
2. 11+ years of experience in strategy development, corporate planning, or management consulting
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels
5. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
6. Familiarity with business intelligence tools and strategic planning frameworks
