About the Role:
As an Engineering Assistant Manager at Four Seasons Red Sea, you will play a key role in overseeing the daily maintenance and repair operations across the resort. You will ensure that guest rooms, public areas, Powerhouse, RO plant, and STP are kept in optimal condition, maintaining the high standards of quality and functionality that Four Seasons is known for.
What You Will Do:
Oversee daily repairs and maintenance of Mechanical & Electrical systems (M&E) across the resort.
Supervise the daily operation and planned maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, Powerhouse, RO plant, and STP.
Lead and manage the powerhouse staff to ensure smooth operations.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and other departments.
Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure quality control and adherence to safety standards.
Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure tools and materials are used efficiently.
Read and interpret MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) layouts and drawings.
Assist in the development and execution of preventive maintenance programs.
Coordinate daily repairs of kitchen and laundry equipment, as well as buggies, in collaboration with other Duty Engineers.
Drive engineering department goals and monitor the progress of repairs and maintenance.
Administer and track maintenance request programs and follow up with concerned departments.
Assist in preparing annual departmental plans, forecasts, and budgets.
Participate in departmental training and team-building activities.
Actively support the onboarding and mentoring of new employees.
What You Will Bring:
Education: A college diploma or vocational certificates, with a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering preferred.
Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience in a hotel maintenance environment at the Duty Engineer or Assistant Manager level. Powerhouse experience is a plus.
Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in English (both written and spoken). Solid math and psychometric abilities are beneficial.
Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit to handle the demands of the role.
Sustainability Knowledge: Ability to understand and contribute to eco-friendly and sustainable practices within the hospitality industry.

Departmental:
Oversee the daily maintenance and repairs of guest rooms, public areas, Powerhouse, RO plant, and STP.
Review duty technician logs, create daily worksheets, and track progress on repairs and preventive maintenance tasks.
Administer the preventive maintenance program for all systems and facilities, ensuring timely execution.
Monitor performance and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
Act as a mentor for new employees and support their integration into the team.
Specific Responsibilities:
Maintain organized records for departmental activities, including schedules, rostering, and leave management.
Conduct daily briefings and participate in departmental meetings.
Provide performance feedback to employees and assist with their personal and professional development.
Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and available as needed.
Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Department Head.
