Direct Custody and Clearing Operations Associate

Exciting opportunity to work as a Custody Operations specialist with proven local securities market experience and support for new initiatives. This role offers the chance to develop people management skills and potentially lead the operations team responsible for ongoing business support.

As a Direct Custody and Clearing Operations Associate within the Operations team, you will be an innovative team member with the skills and experience to instigate change and ensure an efficient, controlled operating model. Your responsibilities will include defining and managing the operating model, determining technology requirements, and establishing business processes to support new initiatives, all while maintaining a robust control environment.

Job Responsibilities

1. Provide processing support for effective and efficient delivery of Custody Trade Operations.
2. Support processing across various instruments like Equity, G-sec, and Corporate Bonds for settlement and regulatory reporting.
3. Execute error-free operations and escalate exceptions across processes including pre-trade activity, trade capture, affirmation, brokerage, and settlement.
4. Understand SWIFT messaging.
5. Supervise daily business deliverables and respond promptly to client inquiries.
6. Ensure compliance with firm policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
7. Communicate effectively with key stakeholders, including internal teams and external market participants.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Minimum 1 year of trade settlement and custody experience in KSA.
• Operating knowledge and good understanding of KSA Tadawul systems.
• Ability to prioritize workloads effectively and meet critical deadlines.
• High integrity; operate with honesty and transparency.
• Proficiency in MS-Office, especially MS-Excel.
