Job description

MEDCO is seeking a strong, process-driven Operations Manager to play a key role in driving execution, enforcing discipline, and improving coordination across departments. This senior-level position supports the General Manager in transforming the company's operational backbone.

Preferably based in Riyadh, the role will be responsible for aligning and supervising daily operations across Sales, After-Sales, Workshops, Logistics, Administration, and Support Functions, with a focus on enhancing performance in the Central Region.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Serve as the GM's operational lead in the field, ensuring daily activities align with procedures and strategic goals.
  2. Oversee and coordinate activities across all key departments including sales, after-sales, logistics, and administration.
  3. Identify process gaps and lead the design, implementation, and enforcement of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  4. Enhance cross-functional collaboration to eliminate inefficiencies and delays.
  5. Monitor KPIs, track performance, and ensure accountability for operational targets.
  6. Support internal controls, cost management, and compliance with supplier and company standards.
  7. Promote execution discipline across regions and departments through effective communication and structured follow-up.
  8. Assist with onboarding, operational readiness, and process alignment for new hires, tools, and systems.

Candidate Profile:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or Business Administration.
  2. 8-10 years of experience in operational or cross-functional leadership roles.
  3. Background in construction equipment, capital goods, or industrial B2B sectors is preferred.
  4. Proven ability to manage multi-department execution, enforce compliance, and improve workflows.
  5. Strong problem-solving, planning, and follow-up skills.
  6. Fluent in Arabic and English.
  7. Proficient in ERP systems, MS Office, and performance reporting tools.
  8. Hands-on, decisive, and process-oriented leadership style.
