Job Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Job Summary:

We are looking for an accomplished Senior Network and Security Engineer to join our team and work onsite at our customer's premises in Riyadh, KSA. This role demands deep expertise in designing, implementing, and securing enterprise-grade hybrid and cloud network infrastructures, with a strong focus on Cisco, Fortinet, and modern cloud and security technologies.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with cloud networking (GCP, AWS), extensive knowledge of enterprise security systems, and the ability to lead initiatives that ensure high performance, availability, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, deploy, and manage complex enterprise network and security infrastructures, including hybrid environments.
• Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, wireless systems, and segmented networks.
• Deploy and manage Cisco and Fortinet technologies, including LAN/WAN, VPN, wireless, and advanced threat protection.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis of complex issues across multi-vendor environments.
• Implement and manage security platforms such as Web Application Firewalls (WAF), threat detection technologies,Network Detection & Response (NDR),NAC, and email/web security solutions.
• Design and maintain secure hybrid cloudconnectivity, integrating cloud-native security practices and tooling.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for provisioning and maintaining network/security infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Ensure alignment with cloud security best practices, including IAM, encryption, threat detection, logging, and compliance standards.
• Provide leadership in incident response, vulnerability management, and compliance initiatives.
• Maintain technical documentation and participate in governance and change control processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customer stakeholders to align solutions with business goals and regulatory requirements.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
• 10+ years of experience in network and security engineering, including enterprise design and operations.
• Extensive hands-on experience with:

1. Cisco and Fortinet networking and security solutions
2. Web Application Firewalls (WAF) and advanced threat detection technologies
3. Network Detection & Response (NDR)
4. Cisco Collaboration and Wireless solutions
5. NAC, email/web security, and next-generation firewalls

• Proficiency in routing/switching, advanced network segmentation, and core protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.).
• Experience in configuring complex infrastructure involving switch/switch, switch/server, router/server environments.
• Deep understanding of cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure), especially cloud networking services (VPCs, Transit Gateway, VPNs), firewall policies, and troubleshooting tools.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security principlesincluding IAM, data protection, threat detection, and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO, CIS).
• Hands-on expertise with IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across hybrid and cloud environments.
• Proven ability to drive incident response, root cause analysis, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CCNP (Routing & Switching and/or Security) required
• CISSP, CISM, or GISP strongly preferred
• Cisco Collaboration Certification preferred
• Cloud Networking/Security Certifications:

1. Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Network Engineer
2. AWS Certified Advanced Networking Specialty
3. Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate

• Other cloud security certifications (e.g., Google Cloud Security Engineer, AWS Security Specialty) are a plus.
