The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing complex electrical projects, ensuring compliance with local and international standards, and collaborating with various engineering disciplines. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical theory and hands-on experience with electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 13+ years of experience in mega projects as Electrical Engineer.
• At least 10 years of hands-on experience in electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical plans and specifications according to codes and standards.
• Provide technical support during construction and review as-built plans.
• Ensure compliance with Hill International's Quality, Environmental, and Safety policies.

Job description

General Description of Role and Responsibilities:

• Review electrical plans and specifications according to local and international codes, standards, and best practices.
• Review electrical shop drawings and material submissions against approved drawings, specifications, laws, and standards.
• Ensure compliance of the design consultant with Hill International and Tunnel Authority's processes and procedures.
• Provide technical support during construction and review as-built plans.
• Participate in value engineering procedures.
• Familiarize with and ensure compliance with Hill International's Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
• Minimum of 13+ years of experience in mega projects, with overall responsibility as Electrical Engineer.
• At least 10 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, testing, and troubleshooting electrical systems and components.
• Proven track record of successfully completing diverse electrical projects.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Experience collaborating with other engineering disciplines.
• Deep understanding of electrical circuit theory, electromagnetism, electronics, and control systems.
• Familiarity with electrical codes such as NEC, IEC, and IEEE.
• Knowledge of electrical safety procedures and hazard mitigation.
• Understanding of power system analysis, including load flow, short circuit, and stability studies.
• Familiarity with electrical equipment and instrumentation like oscilloscopes, multimeters, and spectrum analyzers.
