Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of the company's marketing strategy and marketing plan for petrochemical products in the Middle East, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and participate in the marketing committee to approve the marketing plan.
- Supervise the implementation of the marketing plan, monitor actual costs versus budgets and take appropriate action to correct any deviation from budget or schedules.
- Establish brand strategy and organize marketing activities to generate brand awareness in the Middle East.
- Recommend appropriate policies regarding pricing, promotions, product and market evaluation and select placement and key messages for advertising and advertorials.
- Supervise the undertaking of market and industry research to identify, develop and lead campaigns to get company products properly positioned.
- Collect information related to sales volume from Marketer and Sales Section to develop appropriate allocation plans that can be submitted for the Marketing Committee's approval when required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering, or Marketing/Economics/Statistics, or equivalent
- Minimum of 12 years of experience marketing in a progressively responsible position at managerial level, with five years in a refinery or petrochemical environment
- High skill in supervisory, management, good communication
- Working knowledge of marketing techniques in Refined & petrochemical products
- Fluent English language (Reading & Writing)
