About the Hospital

A tertiary care academic medical complex comprising two university hospitals, academic & research centres, and specialized centres for cardiac, oncology, and diabetes care. The complex employs over 1,300 physicians, 853 residents & fellows, and approximately 2,000 allied health personnel, providing care to more than 1 million outpatients, admitting 45,966 patients, and performing around 14,000 procedures annually. The hospital emphasizes research and academic activities.

Qualifications Required

Applicants must meet the following criteria to qualify as a consultant with this institution and as per licensing authorities:

  1. 3 years of consultant experience in a Western hospital
  2. 3 years of post-specialist qualification experience from one of the following countries:
    1. UK – CCT
    2. USA – American Board
    3. Canada – Canadian Fellowship
    4. Ireland – CSD/CSCST
    5. Australia & New Zealand – Fellowship
    6. France – DES/DESC
    7. Other European countries according to the qualification equivalence tables of the SCFHS
  3. Preference for candidates with SCFHS Consultant classification
