Job Title: Pediatric Endocrinology Consultant


JOB SUMMARY


As a consultant specializing in Pediatric Endocrinology at our prestigious hospital in Saudi Arabia, you will lead our endocrine services, providing expert guidance in the diagnosis and management of endocrine disorders. Your responsibilities will include overseeing treatment plans for patients with hormonal imbalances, leading research initiatives, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, guiding junior medical staff, and ensuring the highest standards of care for patients with endocrine conditions. Your expertise will contribute to the advancement of endocrinology services and the reputation of our hospital as a center of excellence in endocrine care.


MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  1. Provide high-quality Pediatric Endocrinology care to patients.
  2. Offer consultative services as requested.
  3. Supervise fellows, staff/assistant physicians, and residents.
  4. Participate in training and teaching of residents and fellows, and engage in research activities.
  5. Participate in committees and administrative functions as needed.
  6. Perform special procedures as privileged.
  7. Follow all hospital-related policies and procedures.
  8. Perform other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS


Education


  1. Graduate from a medical school of good standing.
  2. Completion of required training in Pediatric Endocrinology.
  3. Saudi Arabian, American, or European Board Certification or equivalent.
  4. Membership and/or Fellowship status in America and/or Europe or their equivalents, fulfilling the criteria for a consultant.
  5. A certificate recognized by the Saudi Commission is mandatory.
  6. DataFlow certification is required.

Professional Experience


  1. Minimum 3-4 years post-Board/Fellowship experience in Pediatric Endocrinology.
  2. Registered member of the Saudi Board Council.

Language


  • Proficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic is advantageous.
