Job description

The Procurement Manager leads and executes sourcing strategies to ensure the timely supply of quality raw materials and operational goods. This role supports uninterrupted production and drives cost-effective procurement aligned with company objectives.

Key Accountabilities
  1. Analyzing the factory's raw material needs (e.g., flour, sugar, butter, packaging) and coordinating with production and warehouse departments.
  2. Identifying and evaluating local and international suppliers, and negotiating terms to secure the best deals (price, quality, delivery time).
  3. Preparing and managing purchase contracts, ensuring full compliance with agreed terms.
  4. Monitoring inventory levels and forecasting shortages to prevent production delays.
  5. Developing and implementing procurement policies and procedures to ensure transparency and efficiency.
  6. Overseeing international purchasing processes, including import and customs procedures when applicable.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

We are looking for:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the food or manufacturing sector.
  3. Proven experience in negotiation, contract preparation, and supplier management.
  4. Good knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., Zoho, Oracle, SAP).
