Job description

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct research and development activities to identify, evaluate, and select materials for use in our products and processes.
  2. Perform materials characterization and testing, including mechanical, thermal, chemical, and microstructural analysis, to assess material properties and performance.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to develop material specifications and ensure materials meet project requirements and standards.
  4. Provide technical expertise and support to resolve materials-related issues and challenges during product development, production, and service.
  5. Evaluate new materials, technologies, and processes to identify opportunities for innovation, cost reduction, and performance improvement.
  6. Develop and maintain documentation, including material specifications, test reports, and technical data sheets, to support product development, manufacturing, and quality control activities.
  7. Stay current with advances in materials science and technology, industry trends, and regulatory requirements, and apply this knowledge to enhance our materials development and engineering capabilities.
  8. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations, and promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility in materials-related activities.
