Summary


Work with the senior leadership team in NEOM and NEOM Europe to drive positive outcomes to the negotiation, due diligence and closing process for potential joint ventures, partnerships, equity investments or other strategic alliances. Role includes souring of strategic investment opportunities and working with the relevant NEOM Sectors/Departments to streamline the process and ensure a coordinated approach to each partner.


This person will be a valued member of NEOM’s effort to build a world class organization in the London office to source direct foreign investment, find partners critical to the build-out of NEOM globally and promote a positive brand for NEOM in the UK & Europe.


Position description and responsibilities


  • Be a leader in strategy development, sourcing potential partners for foreign direct investment and/or partnerships, attracting talent and positively promoting the NEOM brand.
  • Manage relationships with existing and target Neom partners across Europe.
  • Develop detailed valuation models and/other financial analyses in support of due diligence activities on behalf of NEOM.
  • Analyze the risk/reward and returns for investments ranging from multi-billion partnerships to smaller venture capital investments.
  • Prepare materials required to facilitate internal NEOM approval of investments. Present findings to NEOM Committees and NEOM CEO.
  • Assist in development and delivery of proposals and presentations to potential partners and investors.
  • Spend time in Technology & Venture hubs across Europe in support of NEOM effort to build relationships and source equity investments.
  • Find ways to add value to a new, growing presence for NEOM in UK and Europe.
  • Interfaces will include NEOM Regions, Sectors, Neom Investment Office (NIO) and Neom Investment Fund (NIF).

Knowledge and Experience


  • Ability to operate credibly with senior level stakeholders. Sound financial modelling skills.
  • Demonstrated track record of managing high level relations with C suits of global companies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in an unstructured environment, be creative and find ways to add value.
  • Entrepreneurial nature, with ability to hit the ground running.

Qualifications


  • 20+ years of managerial experience in investments i.e., via Investment Banking, Corporate M&A and/or Private Equity in various sectors including technology sectors, real-estate, and hospitality or tourism.
  • MBA and/or CFA from a top tier institution is required.
