ROLE SUMMARY



Achieves business results through managing the defined sales territory, building strong relationships with Healthcare Professionals about the company’s products, in accordance with AZ code of conduct. Develops expertise in products and patient needs, working under supervision.

What you’ll do



Key / distinctive responsibilities:
- Providing information to HCPs about AZ products, including promotion in line with company policies.
- Supporting the manager with competitive intelligence and data collection.
- Managing financial aspects of sales activities.
- Improving personal knowledge and skills.
- Achieving targets for content-driven engagement and call rate coverage.
- Participating in and driving team and cross-BU initiatives to improve overall sales performance and quality of work.
- Facilitating the exchange of best practices and supporting regional meetings and training.

Along with:
- Engaging healthcare professionals in dialogue about product efficacy, safety, and indications to support on-label prescribing.
- Promoting AZ products ethically through various channels such as visits, conferences, and seminars.
- Building and maintaining long-term relationships with key customers.
- Providing feedback on activities and client contacts.
- Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of products, disease areas, and competitors.
- Conducting market research to analyze healthcare needs and competitor activities.
- Collaborating with FLSM to assess sales performance and market trends.
- Ensuring sales forecasts and budgets are met or exceeded.
- Complying with all regulations regarding interactions with healthcare professionals and distribution of samples.
- Completing all required training and product examinations.

Administration:



- Ensuring timely reporting of activities in Veeva CRM.
- Adhering to all reporting and administrative standards.

Corporate Responsibility:



- Upholding the highest ethical standards and working in accordance with AstraZeneca’s Code of Ethics.
- Ensuring activities comply with local laws and corporate standards.
- Reporting health, safety, and compliance-related incidents promptly.

Essential for the role



- Minimum two years of experience promoting medical products in a multinational environment or equivalent.
- Proven performance with at least 90% achievement in the last two years.
- Strong product and medical knowledge, maintaining a score of 90% across exams.
- KPIs: 90% coverage and 90% daily interactions.
- Experience in building professional relationships with HCPs.
- Knowledge of healthcare environment, compliance, disease, and therapy areas.
- Proficient selling skills, business acumen, planning, and self-motivation.
- Knowledge of TAP and cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to gather competitive intelligence.
