Job description

Founded in 1994, Eurocontrolli is an international System Integrator with over 80 dedicated employees across our offices in Italy, UAE, and KSA.

We are specialized in design and supply of Integrated Telecoms, Security and Fire & Gas detection and suppression systems for Oil & Gas and Commercial markets. We offer a complete portfolio of services that includes Engineering, Design, Procurement, Project Management, Inspection, Logistics Management, Transport & Delivery, Commissioning, SAT & PAT, Training & Maintenance.

To sustain our expansion, we are seeking for a talented Pre-Sales / Proposal / Bid Engineer to be part of our International Sales Team. The selected resource will be responsible to develop technically compliant, cost effective solutions in response to International Tenders for the supply of industrial Telecom and Security integrated solutions. He/She will work closely with the Account / Business Development Manager(s) and with Company’s management during the entire bid preparation to ensure the submission of a Techno-Commercial Proposal in line with Client’s and Company’s expectations.

What She/He will do:

  • Analyze the Technical Requirements contained in the Tender documentation received from Client
  • Identify the critical technical requirements contained in the Tender documents
  • Prepare a preliminary high-level cost estimation of the equipment required
  • Identify the potential Suppliers/Vendors for each of the items required in the Tender
  • Identify potential design optimization
  • Prepare the Request for Quotation (RFQ) packages to be sent to Suppliers/Vendors
  • Analyze the quotation received from Suppliers, both technically and commercially
  • In necessary, follow-up with Suppliers in order to receive revised techno/commercial offers
  • Prepare technical and commercial tabulations of all the quotations received
  • Present the tabulations to the Account/BD Manager and to Company’s management
  • Prepare the Technical Offer package (Technical Specification, Block Diagrams, Data Sheets, List of Technical Deviations, etc) based on the solutions agreed with the BD/Management
  • Prepare the overall cost baseline based on the selected technical solutions and on the agreed project execution strategy
  • Finalize and submit the Technical and Commercial packages to Client within the Bid due date
  • Travel internationally with short notice to meet Vendors and to attend Bid Clarification Meetings with Clients

What we expect:

  • Master’s degree in Telecommunication or Electronic Engineering (or similar)
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of HCIS Standards
  • Ability to work under pressure and with multiple deadlines
  • Commercial and cost optimization acumen.
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills (Communication, Emotional, Team-Working and Problem Solving skills).
  • Availability to travel internationally with a short-notice to meet Clients, Vendors and to attend exhibitions.
  • Enhanced understanding of Microsoft Office suite of programs, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role in Telecom and Security System Integrators in KSA
