Roles & Responsibilities
  • Seeking a Project Engineer experienced in the construction of Cross-Country Pipelines.
  • The ideal candidate should have deep experience in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction of pipelines.
  • Essential duties include:

o Fully familiar with international codes and standards.

o Monitor daily project activities and assist the Project Manager in achieving targets and objectives.

o Supervise the downstream project team.

o Review design packages at each phase until issuance of IFC drawings and MTOs, and verify quantities.

o Coordinate with Engineering and Procurement departments for follow-up and resolution to facilitate construction.

o Plan, schedule, and coordinate technical aspects of the project with relevant managers.

o Resolve construction issues by preparing technical queries in coordination with the Project Manager, Engineering Department, and Construction Team.

o Participate in client/contractor meetings and prepare MOMs.

o Prepare and review daily/weekly progress reports and two-week look-ahead plans, reporting to Construction and Project Managers.

o Draft and address project letters to stakeholders.

o Monitor and control subcontractors' daily activities ensuring compliance with QHSE requirements.

o Ensure all construction activities align with the project quality plan.

o Anticipate client requirements and provide optimal solutions.

o Oversee all onsite and offsite project activities, including planning, scheduling, project control, resource management, engineering, procurement, construction, subcontractor management, and QHSE compliance.

o Coordinate and direct the project team across all phases of execution.

o Manage project administration, mechanisms, and controls.

o Maintain awareness of interdependencies with other projects and stakeholders.

o Obtain support and advice for project management, planning, and control.

o Conduct periodic project evaluations and recommend follow-up actions.

o Supervise the selection of tools, materials, and equipment, and maintain inventory records.

o Review work progress daily and prepare internal and external reports.

o Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve issues proactively.

o Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks.

o Ensure contractual performance conditions are met.

o Liaise with QHSE to ensure compliance with standards.
