Job description

We are looking for a System analyst for an ambitious fintech company based in Riyadh that is building a peer-to-peer (P2P) lending platform designed to bridge a critical gap in the financial services market. The platform targets the underbanked population by providing fair, transparent access to micro-loans and investment opportunities for retail investors.

As a Systems Analyst , you will play a vital role in bridging business needs and technical implementation across the platform's lifecycle :

Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document comprehensive business requirements in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Translate business needs into clear, structured, and actionable technical specifications for the development team.
  • Support and contribute to System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure alignment with business expectations and quality standards.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional development teams throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC) , offering ongoing clarification and support.
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system specifications, process flows, and functional requirements.
  • Analyze existing systems to understand limitations, integration points, and inform future solution design.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a business or system analyst role, preferably in fintech or banking.
  • Proficiency in BPMN and UML for business process and system modeling.
  • Solid understanding of software development methodologies and the SDLC.
  • Hands-on experience working with RESTful and SOAP APIs for system integration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to understand and communicate complex system interdependencies.
  • Excellent communication skills in English , both written and verbal.
  • Fluency in Arabic is required, as the role involves frequent communication with local stakeholders, partners, and regulatory bodies.
  • Familiarity with Saudi Arabian payment systems and fintech regulations will be considered a strong advantage.
