Responsibilities
- Job Purpose: As part of the KSA sales team, the primary role of this position is to maximize sales volume, minimize stales, achieve distribution targets, implement merchandising standards, collect accounts receivable, and maintain high levels of customer service. Operating procedures must be followed to ensure consistency across KSA. Additionally, the Pre-seller provides market information to develop sales opportunities and attends training to improve professionalism and customer service. A daily debriefing with the supervisor is required.
- Principal Accountabilities:
- Sell the full range of products to an agreed list of customers, with sales measured against targets and stales kept below set limits.
- Provide customers with approved service levels, adhering to call frequencies and route plans to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Conduct daily and weekly vehicle checks, maintain the sales vehicle, and report any defects promptly.
- Ensure timely supply of customer orders, including delivery arrangements.
- Maintain stock levels at customers' outlets to minimize out-of-stock issues.
- Implement in-store merchandising as communicated by the supervisor, coordinating with any additional support staff.
- Report competitor activities in the area.
- Reconcile daily sales transactions, including cheques, cash, and credit sales.
- Maintain personal grooming and presentation standards.
- Adhere to high standards of driving and obey traffic regulations.
The performance will be evaluated based on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Consistent underperformance may lead to disciplinary action.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in sales and account development.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Conflict management, sales planning, and basic accounting skills.
