Responsibilities
- Job Purpose: As part of the KSA sales team, the primary role of this position is to maximize sales volume, minimize stales, achieve distribution targets, implement agreed merchandising standards, collect accounts receivable, and maintain high levels of customer service. Operating procedures must be followed to ensure consistency of standards across KSA to support these functions. Additionally, the Pre-seller will provide the supervisor with the latest market information to develop sales opportunities and will attend training courses to improve professionalism and customer service. A daily debriefing with the supervisor is required.
- Principal Accountabilities: Sell the full range of products to an agreed list of customers, with sales measured against targets. Keep stales below the agreed target. Provide customers with approved service levels, maintaining call frequencies and route plans to ensure customer satisfaction. Conduct daily vehicle checks and maintain the vehicle in good condition. Ensure timely delivery of customer orders, including detailed delivery arrangements. Maintain individual customer stock levels to minimize out-of-stock issues. Implement in-store merchandising as communicated by the supervisor, coordinating with additional support from company merchandisers. Report relevant competitor activity in the area. Reconcile all cheques, cash, and credit sales daily. Ensure staff are neatly groomed and presentable, maintain high standards of driving, and obey driving regulations. Performance will be measured against KPIs, and failure to meet these will lead to disciplinary action.
Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 1 to 3 years of experience in sales and account building
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Conflict management and sales planning abilities
- Basic accounting skills
