About the Role
We seek a dynamic Head of Solutioning to lead our Solution Architecture team within the Business Support Systems (BSS) domain. This line management role involves overseeing Solution Architects at various experience levels, providing strategic and operational leadership to deliver top-tier solutions to complex customer challenges.
Your expertise in business operation systems—especially charging, billing, and core commerce platforms—will be vital in guiding your team, influencing customer engagements, and shaping Ericsson’s position in the digital BSS space.
You will be a key contact for internal stakeholders and customer-facing teams across multiple Market and Business Areas, reporting insights to Customer Unit CTOs and R&D teams.
Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and develop a high-performing Solutioning team, supporting Solution Architects' professional growth.
2. Define and translate customer needs into scalable, future-proof solutions utilizing Ericsson’s BSS portfolio, focusing on monetization, charging, billing, and commerce platforms.
3. Serve as the senior technical lead in strategic pre-sales opportunities, shaping proposals and solution roadmaps.
4. Ensure architectural governance and quality assurance during solution design and delivery, minimizing risks and ensuring customer satisfaction.
5. Collaborate with Key Account Managers, Customer CTOs, Product Lines, and R&D to align solutions with business objectives.
6. Stay updated on industry trends and customer needs, integrating insights into solution design and product development.

Required Skills & Experience

• Leadership experience managing technical teams, preferably in solutioning, architecture, or pre-sales roles.
• Deep knowledge of BSS ecosystems, especially in charging, billing, and core commerce solutions.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to align technical solutions with customer ROI.
• Proven success in shaping complex deals and supporting strategic sales.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at senior levels.
• Experience working in global, matrixed organizations and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing or deploying Ericsson BSS solutions.
• Knowledge of 5G monetization, cloud-native transformations, or real-time charging systems.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related fields.
