Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Civil and Infra Engineering Inspector to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of various infrastructure projects throughout the region.
- Conduct thorough inspections of civil engineering and infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, and utilities
- Verify that construction work adheres to approved plans, specifications, and local building codes
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation of project progress
- Identify and report any deviations from plans or potential safety hazards
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues
- Perform material testing and quality control checks as needed
- Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian construction standards and practices
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical input on construction methods and materials
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and changes in regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering or construction inspection
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ACI, NICET) are a plus
- Proficiency in engineering software, such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and quality control procedures
- Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations, particularly in Saudi Arabia
- Excellent technical writing skills for preparing comprehensive inspection reports
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy and quality
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills and time management
- Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
- Willingness to work on-site and travel within the Riyadh region as needed
