Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Manual SQA Engineer with 5-8 years of experience, preferably in the banking or financial domain , to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software applications by designing and executing manual test cases, identifying defects, and working closely with development teams to ensure high-quality product delivery. This is a full-time position, and we are looking for candidates who can join in less than one month.

Key Responsibilities :

• Review business requirements, functional specifications, and technical documentation to understand the testing requirements.
• Design, develop, and execute manual test cases based on product requirements and specifications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing of applications within the banking / financial domain.
• Report, track, and manage defects using issue-tracking tools.
• Collaborate with development teams to discuss defects and ensure timely resolution.
• Perform end-to-end testing, including UI, usability, and compatibility testing.
• Provide feedback on software design and user experience to enhance product quality.
• Perform risk-based testing and prioritize testing based on project timelines.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings.
• Ensure adherence to test strategies and QA processes.
• Continuously identify and propose improvements to testing processes and procedures.

Requirements

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of manual SQA testing experience, with a strong focus on the banking / financial domain.
• Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM, etc.).
• Strong experience in designing, executing, and maintaining manual test cases.
• Good understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA processes.
• Strong knowledge of functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
• Experience in testing complex banking and financial applications.
• Ability to write detailed and accurate test reports, defect reports, and test plans.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be located in Riyadh or willing to relocate within one month.

Preferred Skills :

• Experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium) is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of local banking regulations and compliance standards is an advantage.
• Experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies
