Job Description

The A/C Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of all air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration systems within the property. The role ensures optimal operation of HVAC systems to maintain guest comfort and support facility operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, chillers, air handlers, split units, and exhaust systems.
2. Diagnose and repair faults in A/C systems, including electrical and mechanical issues.
3. Maintain all refrigeration systems such as walk-in coolers, freezers, and ice machines.
4. Monitor performance of HVAC systems and ensure energy efficiency and proper air quality.
5. Keep detailed logs of maintenance and repair work performed.
6. Respond promptly to service requests and ensure timely resolution of issues.
7. Follow all safety procedures and company policies regarding equipment maintenance.
8. Assist with general engineering and maintenance tasks when required.

Desired Skills & Expertise

• Diploma or technical certification in HVAC, Refrigeration, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in a hotel, resort, or facilities maintenance role.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and controls.
• Ability to read blueprints, technical diagrams, and equipment manuals.
• Familiar with refrigerant handling procedures and safety standards.
• Good communication and time management skills.
