Job Description

We are looking to recruit an Associate Director to support the Commercial Director on one of our prestigious multi-sector based projects. The primary focus is to work with the Commercial Director and team to grow existing client relationships, identify and secure new clients, and support bid processes for new work.

Contribute to diversifying our service offerings, support the Commercial Director in recruiting new team members, and lead programme and project management commissions, taking responsibility for end-to-end service delivery.

Act as the key, day-to-day client interface, ensuring project objectives are met and projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Manage commissions and resources efficiently to contribute to overall profitability.

Participate in strategic and operational management, specifically handling business development and marketing tasks to achieve strategic goals.

Qualifications

Role requirements:

  • Develop, support, and lead client relationships and related deliverables
  • Establish and operate effective programme processes and systems for data management and benchmarking
  • Interface with clients and consultants at all programme stages
  • Understand client and commission requirements to deliver trusted solutions
  • Manage programme setup, delivery, and closeout activities
  • Manage commissions to meet client and business objectives
  • Lead cross-functional project teams
  • Provide strategic advice during project conception to achieve client objectives
  • Ensure technical and project management skills are met
  • Comply with Business Management System and risk management processes
  • Ensure contractual compliance with clients and sub-consultants
  • Establish success criteria including time, cost, technical, and performance parameters
  • Implement project governance, planning, and procurement strategies
  • Monitor performance using KPIs and manage project finances
  • Maintain effective communication with project teams and clients
  • Produce formal project reports and manage risk and change control processes
  • Oversee design teams and contractors as per scope
  • Support business case development as needed

Skills and capabilities:

  • 10-15 years of relevant experience in cost management
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
  • Experience with major programmes and projects
  • Proactive leadership with multitasking ability
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of managing stakeholders
  • Experience leading large teams and developing talent
  • In-depth knowledge of real estate and infrastructure sectors
