Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in database design, administration, and optimization.

Key Skills & Responsibilities:

• Expertise in designing relational database schemas optimized for performance, scalability, and reliability to meet enterprise-level application demands.
• Extensive experience in query analysis, including identifying inefficient queries, understanding execution plans, and optimizing joins and subqueries.
• Deep working knowledge of PostgreSQL, including advanced indexing strategies, partitioning, and configuration tuning for read/write-heavy applications.
• Skilled in proactive performance monitoring, capacity planning, and resolving bottlenecks using tools such as pgAdmin, EXPLAIN ANALYZE, and custom monitoring scripts.
• Experience handling large datasets, implementing data retention policies, and ensuring high availability and data integrity through backup and recovery strategies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English, capable of presenting technical findings, generating database documentation, and liaising with stakeholders
