Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:

We are seeking a highly skilled MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Manager with over 10 years of experience to oversee and manage all MEP aspects of our swimming pool and water feature construction projects. The MEP Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering high-quality MEP systems while ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project timelines.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Project Management:
   • Oversee MEP design, installation, and commissioning for swimming pool and water feature construction projects.
   • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely completion.
   • Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, and contractors to integrate MEP services efficiently.
2. Technical & Design Coordination:
   • Review MEP designs, drawings, and specifications for feasibility and compliance.
   • Identify and resolve technical challenges during project execution.
   • Ensure proper coordination between mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
3. Quality Control & Compliance:
   • Ensure that all MEP works comply with local building codes, safety standards, and project requirements.
   • Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning to verify system performance.
   • Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards in installation and execution.
   • Evaluate and select subcontractors and suppliers for MEP works in KSA and other GCC.
   • Manage contracts, procurement, and negotiations with vendors in KSA and other GCC.
   • Supervise subcontractor performance and adherence to project deadlines.
   • Monitor expenses and ensure cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
   • Identify and implement value engineering solutions to optimize costs.
   • Lead and mentor a team of MEP engineers, supervisors, and technicians.
   • Conduct regular meetings to ensure smooth coordination across all disciplines.
   • Provide training and technical guidance to project teams.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Registration or affiliation with a professional body will be an asset. Combination of training and experience.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in MEP project management.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of swimming pool and water feature MEP systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and BMS.
• Software Proficiency: AutoCAD, Revit MEP, MS Project, Primavera, BIM, and other project management tools.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with local and international MEP codes and standards.
• Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership, team management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
