Responsibilities:
- Plan and organize events from concept to execution in line with client requirements.
- Supervise the design and coordination of event décor to match the theme and client needs.
- Lead the team during events to ensure smooth operations and high-quality service.
- Design table settings and buffet arrangements to achieve both aesthetic and functional goals.
- Collaborate with clients and event planners to understand and bring their vision to life.
- Ensure flawless execution of all event details, including lighting and decoration.
- Manage inventory and equipment necessary for décor and coordination.
- Address any issues promptly and efficiently during events.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in event management and décor design.
- Strong creative skills and experience in crafting unique and innovative designs.
- Leadership skills with the ability to manage and guide teams effectively.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Strong client interaction skills and the ability to understand their needs.
- Knowledge of the latest trends in event design and decoration.
- Proficiency in English & Arabic.
Catering Skills:
- Menu Planning and Creation: Ability to design, plan, and customize menus based on client preferences, dietary restrictions, and event themes.
- Food Preparation and Presentation: Knowledge of food preparation techniques, presentation styles, and keeping food fresh and appealing.
- Inventory Management: Proficiency in managing stock, ordering supplies, and ensuring that all food and beverage items are available for the event.
- Quality Control: Ensuring that food and beverages meet high standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
- Staff Supervision: Experience managing kitchen and service staff, ensuring smooth operations during events.
- Customer Service: Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with clients, guests, and staff, ensuring satisfaction and handling complaints or requests professionally.
- Time Management: Coordinating cooking times, serving schedules, and delivery to ensure everything runs on time.
Event Design Skills:
- Event Conceptualization: Ability to collaborate with clients to conceptualize event themes, decor, and atmosphere.
- Decor Design and Styling: Expertise in designing event layouts, choosing color schemes, selecting furniture, and setting up table arrangements and floral designs.
- Vendor Coordination: Working with third-party vendors (florists, decorators, lighting specialists) to ensure cohesive event design.
- Space Planning: Understanding spatial layout, how to arrange furniture, and create flow for large groups of guests.
- Design Trends: Staying up-to-date on current event design trends, such as popular decor styles, new technologies (e.g., LED lighting), and eco-friendly options.
- Budgeting and Cost Management: Managing budgets for event design and ensuring that the event stays within the financial parameters set by the client.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring that every element of the event design, from the smallest decoration to the overall theme, aligns with the client’s vision.
- Creative Problem Solving: Being able to quickly resolve design challenges, whether they be space-related, aesthetic, or budget-related.
