The role plays a crucial role in supporting the organization's financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. This role is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and reporting financial data to ensure that the company's financial goals and performance targets are met. The Planning Analyst works closely with cross-functional teams to collaborate on financial planning efforts, provides actionable insights to senior management, and helps execute financial strategies that contribute to the company's growth and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Create variance analysis reports and financial models.
• Lead real-time financial performance monitoring.
• Escalate any financial issues to management.
• Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives.
• Conduct market research and comparable company analysis.
• Recommend strategies for increasing financial performance.
• Present detailed monthly financial reports to managers.
• Utilize popular financial planning and analysis software.
• Collaborate with senior members of the accounting and finance teams.
• Assess and process budget transfer requests from stakeholders, ensuring compliance with approved procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager related to the work.
• Enforce and comply with all relevant controls, information security policies, procedures, and training within departmental activities.

Years & Nature of Experience
