Job Description

Account Manager in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates

You will be responsible for developing client relationships in the automotive sector while also managing ongoing projects in collaboration with our international team. This position requires building long-term trustful relationships while ensuring successful project execution in these strategic Middle East markets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Development

  • Maintain and expand existing contacts within the Middle East automotive industry to identify project opportunities
  • Conduct market investigations and canvass operations to generate new leads in Saudi Arabia and the UAE
  • Forge long-term trustful relationships with clients in the automotive sector
  • Respond to clients requests for quotations and prepare compelling proposals together with the technical expert team

Project Management

  • Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure on-time, within-scope completion
  • Serve as the local point of contact for clients regarding project status and requirements
  • Facilitate communication between clients and technical teams to ensure alignment of expectations

Client Management

  • Push and follow up on offers and conduct project negotiations
  • Organize client visits and meetings to strengthen relationships in the region
  • Ensure close in-person follow-up of ongoing business opportunities
  • Oversee correct execution of invoicing and payment procedures

REQUIREMENTS

Experience & Skills

  • Project management skills with ability to coordinate between international teams
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in discussions at different hierarchical levels
  • Ability to convince through technical arguments and express points of common interest
  • Goal-driven with strong customer and service orientation
  • Technical knowledge of vehicle functions and attributes will be highly valued
  • Experience working in the KSA and the UAE market

Education & Languages

  • University degree, preferably in Engineering or Business Administration
  • Fluent in English and Arabic (required)

Additional Requirements

  • Open to working in a highly international company with multicultural teams
  • Willingness to travel internationally (frequent visits to Spain will be required)
  • Nice to have experience contacting local entities such as Public Investment Fund in the KSA (PIF), Department of Economic Development in the UAE (DED), Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology in the UAE (MoIAT), Gulf Standard Organization (GSO), Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization in the KSA (SASO) and other automotive clients would be highly appreciated
  • Strong collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively across different time zones and culture

Qualifications

  • University degree ideally in Engineering or Business Administration.
  • Fluet in English.
  • Fluent in Arab is highly appreciated.
  • Experience working in the KSA and the UAE.
  • Experience working in a dynamic and multicultural environment.
  • Previous experience in the automotive sector in a sales, technical or project management role.
