Job description

Qiddiya Investment Company is at the forefront of transforming the entertainment and leisure landscape in Saudi Arabia, and we are looking for an exceptional leader to join our team as the Director of Controls & Reporting (RES221). In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for establishing and enforcing robust control frameworks that ensure the integrity of financial and operational reporting across our extensive portfolio of projects.

Your leadership will be key in shaping our reporting strategy, optimizing performance metrics, and driving accountability throughout the organization. You will work alongside cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between strategic objectives and operational execution, making this a highly impactful role within our organization.

Responsibilities

1. Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive controls and reporting frameworks that align with organizational objectives
2. Lead the preparation and analysis of project and program reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal and external standards
3. Collaborate with project managers to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting cycles
4. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management based on reporting findings
5. Drive continuous improvement of reporting processes, systems, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
6. Foster a culture of accountability and compliance through training and mentorship
7. Ensure timely dissemination of high-quality reporting to stakeholders

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, project management or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
2. 15+ years of relevant experience in controls, financial reporting, or a related field
3. Strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards
4. Proven experience in leading reporting functions within a complex organizational environment
5. Exceptional analytical and decision-making skills
6. Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively engage with teams and stakeholders
7. Proficiency in reporting software and data analysis tools
8. Experience in the real estate development or construction sectors is highly desirable
