We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior UAT Engineer to lead and execute UAT efforts across enterprise-level software projects. This role demands a deep understanding of application functionality from an end-user perspective, ensuring solutions meet business expectations and function reliably post-deployment.

The Senior UAT Engineer will work closely with clients, delivery teams, and infrastructure engineers to validate systems, coordinate testing efforts, and maintain application stability in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive UAT test scenarios based on business requirements and user stories.
• Collaborate with clients, business analysts, and internal software delivery teams to understand testing scope.
• Track, report, and validate bugs, issues, and enhancement requests using tools like JIRA and TestRail.
• Lead UAT efforts during the post-deployment phase, including issue triaging and coordination with infrastructure teams.
• Prepare and present UAT results to stakeholders, leading sign-off and acceptance discussions.
• Troubleshoot issues in UAT environments, ensuring readiness and stability for testing activities.
• Validate system health and readiness for go-live and production rollout phases.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in UAT, QA, or software testing roles.
• Proven experience in testing enterprise web applications and APIs.
• Experience in client-facing roles and cross-functional team collaboration.
• Hands-on experience in validating UAT environments, system uptime, and production-readiness.

Technical Knowledge:

• IIS: Deployment verification, port configuration, SSL certificate handling.
• Linux: Command line usage, log analysis, and monitoring.
• Apache/Nginx: Configuration validation and error log interpretation.
• Networking: Ports, protocols, firewall rules, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Email Systems: SMTP validation and email notification testing.
