Position Summary

The Country Manager – Logistics will oversee and direct all logistics and transportation operations across the country. This includes strategic planning, business development, operational excellence, and full P&L responsibility. The role is critical in ensuring efficiency, customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and market competitiveness within the logistics network.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the entire logistics operation within the country (including transportation, warehousing, distribution, and last-mile delivery).
• Develop and implement strategic business plans aligned with regional goals to grow the logistics footprint and customer base.
• Ensure operations are running efficiently and cost-effectively while maintaining high service levels and safety standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operations to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Ensure full compliance with local regulations and global company policies.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance of logistics operations.
• Manage key customer relationships and support sales/commercial teams in client development.
• Lead, mentor, and develop local logistics and operational teams.
• Represent the company with external stakeholders, partners, and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (MBA is a plus).
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in logistics and supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a country or senior leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of logistics operations, including trucking, warehousing, freight forwarding, and distribution.
• Proven experience in managing P&L and driving business growth.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Fluency in English (Arabic or local language preferred for regional roles).

• ERP/logistics software knowledge (e.g., SAP, WMS, TMS).
