Job Description

Our client is a renowned hospital currently looking for a Specialist - Digital Communications in healthcare for the Saudi Arabia location.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working under the general direction of the Head of Digital Communications and Website.
  • Liaising with internal and external communicators.
  • Consulting with business leaders, project managers, and subject matter experts to determine digital communication needs.
  • Coordinating digital communication and change management activities across the organization.
  • Developing and implementing strategic digital communication plans supporting hospital programs, policies, and services.
  • Moderating digital communications organization-wide, utilizing social media monitoring and tracking tools.
  • Ensuring messages align with brand standards to maintain and promote a positive organizational image.
Role & Responsibilities
  1. Identify and influence opportunities to expand the hospital's online presence.
  2. Manage development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and enhancement of digital programs, tools, and activities.
  3. Advise management, developers, and designers on web structure, functionality, and design best practices.
  4. Counsel business leaders and project managers on organizational digital communication strategies.
  5. Create content related to hospital services, enhancements, and projects, consulting with subject matter experts.
  6. Support major IT projects with communication plans and execution, liaising with marketing and communications teams.
  7. Stay updated with industry standards and trends through publications, networking, and conferences.
Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Digital Media, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 10 years in a senior digital communications role, healthcare experience preferred. At least 5 years' hands-on experience with website content management systems, CMS, SharePoint, HTML5, and CSS. Proven experience in strategic communication planning.

Certifications and Additional Requirements: Project Management certification preferred. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Ability to handle confidential matters sensitively. Knowledge of Saudi press regulations, local cultures, and sensitivities. Willingness to travel as required.

Work Location: Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
