Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Communications Specialist position located in Saudi Arabia. This is an onsite role.

Responsibilities

The Communications Specialist will support C4I systems such as NAVMACS, HF, UHF, and VHF Radios and Antennas, Tactical Data Links (Link-11, 16, 22), CENTRIXS, Network Communications, SATCOM, or ADSI. The role requires experience in military operations or related fields, emphasizing technical proficiency, analytical skills, and effective communication. Responsibilities include developing emergency response plans, overseeing surveillance systems, and providing operational guidance.

1. Evaluate information from command centers and prepare high-level military and government reports.
2. Oversee surveillance and detection systems to maintain situational awareness.
3. Provide technical advice on capabilities, system integration, and operational readiness.
4. Manage weapons targeting, firing, and launch computer systems for mission success.
5. Analyze system performance and recommend improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 5-8 years of experience or equivalent.

Required Skills and Experience

• Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• At least 3 years supporting C4I systems such as NAVMACS, HF, UHF, VHF Radios and Antennas, Tactical Data Links, CENTRIXS, Network Communications, SATCOM, or ADSI.
• Experience working OCONUS in security cooperation efforts or for foreign customers.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Over 3 years of experience with NAVWAR prime mission products.
• Experience interacting with U.S. and foreign military/government officials.
• Completion of DISAM SCM courses such as SCM-C.
• DISAM International Affairs Certification Level 1 or higher.

Pay Range

The salary range is from USD $90,000 to USD $130,000 annually, with the final offer depending on various factors including experience and market conditions. The position is at-will, and salary may be adjusted at the company's discretion.
