Main Purpose:
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of our exquisite products. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day logistics tasks, collaborating with Richemont Subsidiaries for inbound & outbound shipments, expertly handling special import requirements, and overseeing domestic distribution activities. Your meticulous attention to detail and proactive approach will contribute directly to our commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities:
Import Operations:
+ Master the art of compliant documentation: Validate shipping documents with precision, ensuring adherence to all customs regulations. + Navigate the complexities of approvals: Secure necessary approvals from customs (DGR shipments, SC Certificates, CITES, SABER exemptions, SFDA, etc.) with confidence.
+ Orchestrate seamless shipments: Control and track shipments from origin to final delivery, expertly managing approvals and communications with all involved parties.
+ Collaborate with customs clearance agents: Ensure smooth and efficient processing of shipments upon arrival.
+ Resolve discrepancies with finesse: Claim reported discrepancies with origin, clearance agents, and insurance companies, adhering to company regulations.
+ Manage financial transactions: Follow up and coordinate with the finance department on timely duties payment and deposit refunds.
+ Maintain meticulous records: Perform data entry and tracking on relevant applications used by the group & the department.
External Operations & Local Distribution:
+ Oversee CAPEX shipments: Control and track CAPEX shipments from origin to final delivery, managing approvals and communications with all involved parties & external vendors. + Manage external warehouses: Ensure efficient operation of external warehouses under the control of the Richemont Saudi Arabia Logistics team.
Local Transfers:
+ Coordinate secure transport: Work with Security Transportation for all goods movement, including inbound and outbound shipments. + Optimize boutique and workshop logistics: Coordinate and monitor goods movement between boutiques and workshop centers in alignment with group policy and transportation directives.
+ Manage intercity transfers: Handle goods transfers between cities (RUH, JED & DMM) through proper shipping modes (land, domestic airfreight, or courier).
Special Shipments Handling:
+ Secure specialized approvals: Coordinate with relevant authorities & 3rd parties in attaining required approvals for CITES Shipments, Fragrance Shipments, etc. + Maintain accurate tracking: Ensure proper tracking and data entry in the group ERP software and approved tracking methods while providing regular reporting.
Logistics Function Governance:
+ Contribute to best practices: Work with Compliance & LOG OPS to draft and update existing SOPs related to the market for all supply chain activities. + Ensure audit readiness: Ensure fulfillment of all Internal Audit requirements related to the Logistics Department.
+ Drive vendor performance: Maintain, update, & control the KPIs of all Logistics external Vendors on a regular basis.
Qualifications:
Educational Background:Bachelor's degree/high diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or other operationally relevant field.
Technical/Work-Based Skills (Must-Have):
+ Communication Excellence: Fluency in English (speaking & writing). Arabic is a plus. + Technical Proficiency: Computer skills and knowledge of MS Software.
+ Regulatory Expertise: Knowledge of local customs regulations.
+ SAP Advantage: Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
Experience:1-2 years in a similar position or other operational field.
Personal Skills/Attributes:Fast learner, hard worker, well-organized, responsible, positive, flexible, high attention to detail.
Working Relationships:
Collaborate with: HQ & Regional Logistics, Brands, Finance, Customer Service, Security, and Compliance teams.
Impact & Autonomy:
Level 1 Autonomy: Apply working methods and instructions, controlled daily to weekly. Subject to practices and procedures covered by defined policies, and supervisory review (autonomy controlled ~ monthly). Implement yearly controls with blocked sessions for reviews to update all agreements, vendor KPIs, and function policies (yearly).
