POSITION OVERVIEW

The Regional Account Manager (RAM) for MMEA / KSA will focus on proactively building new client relationships and growing assigned territories. The role involves working closely with technical, channel partner, and marketing teams to develop selling strategies and campaigns, building trusted relationships with customers and senior representatives. The RAM is responsible for achieving and exceeding sales targets to contribute to the regional sales performance. The role also involves being a trusted advisor, articulating and promoting Trend Micro’s value proposition and services to customers.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Identify and target prospects and existing clients to promote Trend Micro technologies and services.
  • Increase market share within the territory and develop strategies for each product and service.
  • Develop knowledge of the territory and connect with CIOs/CISOs to create opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Pre-Sales, Marketing, and Sales teams to deliver the right value proposition to channel partners and sales teams.
  • Achieve quarterly revenue goals aligned with business unit objectives.
  • Build relationships with ecosystem partners such as AWS, Microsoft, VMware, and Google.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks like Zero Trust, SASE, UEBA, XDR, and platforms like SIEM and SOAR is advantageous.
  • Maintain all account information in Salesforce for opportunity management, revenue forecasting, and planning.
  • Communicate relevant information to stakeholders for informed decision-making.
  • Build and maintain client relationships by understanding their business needs.
  • Advise customers on cybersecurity initiatives and ensure engagement from demos to post-implementation support.
  • Lead and support client meetings and calls.
  • Participate in account review meetings to discuss customer experience, service performance, and future opportunities.
EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in the security industry.
  • Account management certifications such as SPIN or TAS are highly regarded.
  • Sales and security certifications are advantageous.
  • Experience with end customers and channels.
  • Ability to sell value to CIOs and handle complex, multi-customer scenarios showcasing technical and sales expertise.
  • Proven account management experience in the commercial sector.
  • Knowledge of competitors, emerging cybersecurity technologies, trends (cloud, digital transformation, IIoT), and regulations affecting target markets.
  • Growth-oriented mindset and experience working collaboratively across functions.
  • Strong networking skills and ability to build relationships with senior executives.
  • Excellent presentation skills, articulating complex solutions in business language.
