Position

Senior Inspection Engineer

Position Summary:

TÜV SÜD is seeking an experienced Senior Inspection Engineer to join its team in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leading inspection activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and enhancing quality assurance processes across a range of engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct detailed inspections of materials, components, and finished products to verify compliance with standards and client specifications.
  2. Develop, implement, and refine inspection methodologies and quality assurance protocols.
  3. Lead, mentor, and train junior inspection engineers and technicians, enhancing team capabilities and performance.
  4. Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve product quality issues and optimize performance.
  5. Analyze inspection reports, identify trends or areas of concern, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  6. Stay informed on evolving industry standards, technologies, and regulatory changes related to inspection and quality control.
  7. Participate in internal and external audits and assessments to ensure adherence to regulatory and client requirements.
  8. Maintain accurate, detailed inspection documentation and records, ensuring data confidentiality and compliance.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 8–15 years of professional experience in inspection, quality assurance, or related roles within an engineering environment.
  • Proficiency in inspection techniques, methodologies, and tools.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards, including CSWIP/CWI, NACE, BGAS, and NDT inspection methods.
  • Background in welding engineering, painting inspection, or related specialties is highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
