Senior Inspection Engineer
Position Summary:
TÜV SÜD is seeking an experienced Senior Inspection Engineer to join its team in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leading inspection activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and enhancing quality assurance processes across a range of engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed inspections of materials, components, and finished products to verify compliance with standards and client specifications.
- Develop, implement, and refine inspection methodologies and quality assurance protocols.
- Lead, mentor, and train junior inspection engineers and technicians, enhancing team capabilities and performance.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve product quality issues and optimize performance.
- Analyze inspection reports, identify trends or areas of concern, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Stay informed on evolving industry standards, technologies, and regulatory changes related to inspection and quality control.
- Participate in internal and external audits and assessments to ensure adherence to regulatory and client requirements.
- Maintain accurate, detailed inspection documentation and records, ensuring data confidentiality and compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 8–15 years of professional experience in inspection, quality assurance, or related roles within an engineering environment.
- Proficiency in inspection techniques, methodologies, and tools.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards, including CSWIP/CWI, NACE, BGAS, and NDT inspection methods.
- Background in welding engineering, painting inspection, or related specialties is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
