Job description

General Description of Role and Responsibilities:

  • Management and coordination of the contract award process.
  • Development of contract documents, including tender documents.
  • Management of the Owner approval process.
  • Management of claims avoidance activities.
  • Coordination of contract execution.
  • Maintenance of contract documents.
  • Processing of contractor documents.
  • Schedule administration.
  • Assistance to the Project Controls Manager for project reporting requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals, and Procedures within Hill International.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Quantity Surveying, Law, Engineering, Construction Management, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in contract management, including responsibility for large projects and various contract types across all project stages.
  • Experience in managing pressure distribution, contract drafting, bid evaluation, contractor performance monitoring, claims, and dispute resolution.
  • Technical and administrative knowledge of engineering/construction contracting practices, government procurement, and commercial aspects.
  • Proven experience in pricing, contract drafting, negotiations, and managing major contracts and subcontracts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Work experience on a global scale, preferably in the Middle East or Saudi Arabia.
