Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Coaching and mentoring staff across the team to develop and enhance their capabilities.
2. Preparing reports on performance, analyzing data, identifying trends and emerging issues, and opportunities to improve cybersecurity and data protection safety, as well as identifying related risk areas.
3. Providing advice and guidance on security strategies, architectures, policies, and standards.
4. Keeping abreast of new ICT technologies and security best practices.
5. Contributing to the continual improvement of the security posture within the Cybersecurity and IT Security operations.
6. Enhancing compliance with data protection regulations/laws within the data protection function and related functions of Naqel.
7. Ensuring Data Protection awareness training and materials are conducted and up to date.
8. Defining, developing, and reviewing Data Protection policies, procedures, and metrics to meet regulatory requirements.

Skills :

• Bachelor's degree in the IT field or related discipline.
• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Certifications such as CDPO, CISA, CISM, CDPSE, CISSP, CIPP are preferred.
• High integrity and confidentiality in job functions.
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships, and challenge the business when necessary.
• Driven, motivated, positive mindset, adaptable.
• Ability to handle ambiguity and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
