Position: Systems Infrastructure Engineer

The Role

A fantastic opportunity for someone with varied skills across the Microsoft stack aiming to accelerate their career as a Systems Infrastructure Engineer.

You will work with a global team providing technical support, maintaining, enhancing, and optimizing our environments. You will also support colleagues in the region, focusing on the Middle East, and participate in global projects.

If you possess a self-driven, customer-oriented attitude and are eager to broaden your skills in Microsoft Azure and Networking, this role could be ideal for you!

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure Sedgwick's environments and cloud platforms are available, secure, and performant.
  • Manage, monitor, and report on Azure environments.
  • Support local offices and branches in Saudi Arabia.
  • Configure, administer, and migrate Azure services, providing ongoing support.
  • Provide technical support and maintenance for environments and applications.
  • Support hardware deployment and imaging tasks.
  • Identify improvements and adopt best practices for environments.
  • Provide after-hours or weekend support as needed.
Essential Qualifications
  • Strong experience in IT infrastructure with Microsoft technologies.
  • Level 2/3 support experience, preferably in a Managed Services Provider or similar.
  • Experience with on-premise and cloud backup solutions like Commvault or Veeam.
  • Experience with remote desktop, end-user computing, Active Directory, and Windows Server.
  • Proficiency with business technologies in an office setting.
  • Analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Quick learner of new technologies.
  • Ability to produce quality documentation and correspondence.
  • Customer support experience.
  • Willingness to learn and obtain Microsoft certifications.
Highly Desirable Skills
  • Azure PaaS/IaaS experience.
  • Networking knowledge (LAN, WAN, VPN).
  • Exposure to Palo Alto, Meraki, security products.
  • Professional services experience.
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications.
  • ITIL knowledge.
