Your Job
Understand customer application modelling needs and design metamodels and data transformations for target databases with a strong understanding of CIM.
Work with customers on model migration and data conversion for advanced Power Systems Applications.
Implement EMS, ADMS, and SCADA systems.
Contribute to and lead the development and delivery of advanced Power Systems Application software to meet project and product commitments.
Engage with customers, mainly Electric Utilities, Transmission, and Distribution System Operators.
Define functional software specifications, and handle designing, coding, testing, integration, delivery, and maintenance.
Provide domain knowledge and technical leadership to a team of electric power application software engineers.
Lead electric power application development, ensuring timely delivery aligned with customer expectations.
Capabilities
Familiarity with SDLC principles and methodologies like Lean, Agile, XP, Continuous Integration, software security, scalability, documentation, refactoring, and testing techniques.
Qualification: BS/MS in Electrical Engineering
Skills: Functional and technical knowledge of utility GRID applications like SCADA, OMS, DMS, EMS, DERM.
