Job description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Instrument Engineer to lead the instrumentation aspects of project development and technical review processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instrumentation engineering with a deep understanding of international standards, project design review, and site execution for large-scale industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead instrumentation engineering efforts for project development and execution phases.
• Review and assess detailed design documents submitted by GES contractors and alliance partners.
• Ensure all designs adhere to international engineering specifications and relevant industry codes (e.g., ISA, IEC, API).
• Interpret and validate engineering drawings, P&IDs, loop diagrams, and other related documentation.
• Apply knowledge of instrumentation devices, control systems, and integration into process systems.
• Utilize engineering software and digital tools for design, analysis, and reporting.
• Provide leadership in managing the delivery of instrumentation engineering services for multiple projects.
• Resolve technical issues on-site related to instrumentation design and integration.
• Plan and control project activities to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery, in compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical, mechanical, and process engineers.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in instrumentation design and project execution.
• Strong knowledge of field instrumentation, control systems (DCS, PLC), and communication protocols.
• Familiarity with international engineering codes and standards (e.g., ISA, IEC, NEC).
• Proficient in relevant engineering software (e.g., SPI/Intools, AutoCAD, SmartPlant, etc.).
• Demonstrated experience in leading multidisciplinary project teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of EPC project lifecycles in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Industrial sectors.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Duty Hours: 8 Hours / Day, 6 Days / Week
