Purpose


The Spa Receptionist plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth spa operations. Responsibilities include greeting guests warmly, answering inquiries about spa services and products, and assisting with reservations and administrative tasks to create a positive guest experience.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities


  • Follow proper payroll and key procedures.
  • Provide a warm, friendly, and professional welcome to all guests.
  • Coordinate guest lifestyle assessments with therapists.
  • Distribute relevant guest lists and important information to Spa employees.
  • Report on operations as per the established system.
  • Handle billing procedures accurately and reconcile funds at the end of each shift.
  • Complete opening and closing procedures according to checklists.
  • Schedule reservations, monitor treatment availability, and ensure prompt service.
  • Organize scheduling to maximize efficiency and profitability while meeting guest needs.
  • Assist with administrative duties such as purchasing, receiving, and inventory reporting.
  • Respond to phone, email, and written inquiries promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and a welcoming ambiance in the Spa Reception area, fitness area, locker rooms, and relaxation rooms.
  • Maintain professionalism in punctuality, grooming, and manner towards guests and colleagues.
  • Adhere to health and safety laws and procedures, including fire and evacuation protocols.
  • Attend all necessary training sessions.
  • Prepare the reception area for each shift and document handovers.
  • Ensure availability of Spa literature for guest inquiries.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Spa or Hotel Manager.
