Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead and implement innovative procurement strategies that align with Qiddiya's vision and project requirements.
  2. Manage the procurement team to drive efficiency, compliance, and value through strategic sourcing initiatives.
  3. Develop strong partnerships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts that maximize value while ensuring quality and delivery timelines.
  4. Conduct market analysis and develop a keen understanding of supplier capabilities to inform sourcing decisions.
  5. Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to ascertain procurement needs and translate them into actionable plans.
  6. Ensure adherence to procurement policies and regulations, promoting transparency and ethical sourcing practices.
  7. Establish key performance indicators and monitor procurement activities, reporting results to senior management.
  8. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function, leveraging technology and best practices.
  9. Champion collaboration across business units to ensure procurement strategies are effectively integrated into overall project management.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  2. A minimum of 15 years of experience in procurement, preferably in large-scale projects related to construction, real estate, or entertainment.
  3. Proven expertise in developing and executing procurement strategies and sourcing processes.
  4. Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence outcomes.
  5. Demonstrated success in managing and mentoring procurement teams.
  6. Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  7. Familiarity with procurement software, tools, and methodologies.
  8. Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
