The opportunity

This role is designed to ensure a thorough understanding of the project's objectives and to develop property-specific operating strategies that meet required standards.

The candidate will be responsible for managing several operational contracts on behalf of the client, overseeing the implementation of approved initiatives and programs, and coordinating the efforts of the FM team—including direct reports, service providers, contractors, and building employees—to achieve the set goals.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Assisting in designing and delivering building and engineering projects or groups of projects to achieve high quality within specified timescales, budgets, and statutory requirements.
2. Providing electrical engineering design services.
3. Designing electrical engineering elements for new builds or refurbishment projects, including specifying systems and performance criteria.
4. Expertise in HV/LV distribution, lighting and emergency lighting, power distribution, data installations, fire engineering, safety, and security systems such as alarms, access control, and CCTV.
5. Conducting modeling, simulation, feasibility studies, and contributing to whole life costing analyses.
6. Managing engineers involved in projects or groups of projects.
7. Leading projects and producing relevant documentation.
8. Performing quality assurance on designs by others.
9. Participating in client meetings and design workshops.

About you

You should have a degree in electrical engineering and be a member of a professional body. Extensive experience as an electrical engineer is required, including successful project delivery, testing, commissioning, and project close-out. Fluency in Arabic and practicing Muslim faith are mandatory due to the nature of the project.
