Core Responsibilities:

  1. Provide management information and insights on business performance to facilitate decision-making, including periodic reports and ad-hoc requests.
  2. Support the preparation of the annual departmental budget, monitor expenditures, and ensure compliance.
  3. Contribute to workforce planning based on workload analysis and trends forecasting.
  4. Assist in implementing Otis's vision, mission, and cultural values across the department.
  5. Implement and monitor departmental policies, procedures, and controls to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with legislative requirements.
  6. Review and monitor project schedule amendments, resource allocation, procurement status, and progress against plans.
  7. Maintain project records in accordance with contractual requirements and monitor project progress, highlighting potential delays.
  8. Assist in preparing delay schedules for claims and support project planning and measurement activities.
  9. Participate in weekly/monthly site meetings related to planning matters.
  10. Set performance goals at the beginning of the year, track progress, and identify training needs for self and team.
  11. Stay updated with professional developments, new techniques, and industry issues through continuous education.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCM, PMP, or equivalent are preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in planning and coordinating technical projects within a multinational organization.
  • At least 4 years in progressively responsible roles.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English; Arabic is a plus.
